MYFamily Protection for Windows/Mac is not reporting web activity

If you have installed MYFamily Protection for Windows or Mac, and it is not reporting web activity, please note that a common cause of issues with MYFamily Protection is an interference with security suites (e.g., antivirus, anti-malware, firewall), system optimization softwares, or other parental controls. If you’re using such program, try to temporarily disable it prior to re-downloading and re-installing MYFamily Protection.
In this case, it is recommended that you reinstall MYFamily Protection completely and make sure that you're using the latest version available, by following these steps:
- Restart the computer.
- Log into the computer with an administrator account.
- Make sure the device is connected to the Internet.
- If there is any security software installed on the computer (e.g., antivirus, firewall), deactivate it.
- Download a fresh version of MYFamily Protection.
- Follow the installation steps provided.
- Restart the computer.
Make sure also that your computer's operating system and web browser are up to date with the latest versions.
